Bilingual Spanish/English Book – Sid’s Adventures in Spain #20

After a couple of days of taking it easy, Sid decided it was time for his first big challenge which was to hire a car. He had a few days left before viewing his new house for the first time, and as he only had a vague idea where it was, he needed to start exploring the area. The process of car hire was very easy as the lady in the office spoke excellent English and was extremely efficient. She gave Sid several instructions and pieces of paper, all of which seemed to make sense. Sid’s real concern was whether he would be able to drive on the right as he had never done this before, and the lady did not understand when he asked if there was a Spanish Highway Code.

  1. A Highway Code in Spain…….mmmmm!

The Spanish may be many wonderful things but observers of road traffic guidelines would not be my first thought
