How do you say “topsy turvy” in Spanish


This is another nice image – “patas arriba”.  “Pata” is the word for “leg” when referring to an animal or a piece of furniture.   “Arriba” as you are no doubt aware means “up” – so “patas arriba” conjures up a great picture of everything upside down and out of place.  Nothing in my house looks like this as I’ve just spent several days giving it a good old clean and tidy up!
