A Spanish saying about odd couples

I think this saying is a really useful one, as we often come across couples that don’t seem to go together.  The saying is “cada oveja con su pareja”.  The strength of this saying is not so much in its meaning (every sheep with its partner) which is not very inspiring.  Also, and without wishing to sound “sheepist”, I think it is a poor choice of animal as they all look the same to me, but there again I’m not a shepherd.   No, the best thing about this saying is that it rhymes, and therefore is easy to remember!  “Cada oveja con su pareja” which in English would be “each to his own” I suppose.  Now that you’ve learnt it, you’ll be using it all the time, I promise!
